Product Quality
Dipform's gloves are manufactured to meet internationally recognised standards ASTM D3578-95, EN 455 parts 1 & 2 and in accordance with ISO 9002 Quality Management Systems and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Dipform is now certified by SGS for ISO 9001:2000.
Acceptable Quality Levels (AQL) are obtained by the use of sampling plans and procedures specified by ISO 2859 - 1 : 1989 (E).
Oatstarch Donning Powder
- Dipform has taken a major step in switching away from ADP Cornstarch to Ostar® Oatstarch donning powder. Dipform has been convinced of the health benefits of using Ostar® Oatstarch as the preferred donning powder on its gloves.
- Vesna J. Tomazik Ph.D., of the FDA writes in an FDA User Facility Report, "Constarch has a propensity to bind the proteins that are present on natural rubber latex gloves. These proteins are known to cause latex allergy.
- It has been clearly shown consumers choose powdered gloves for personal reasons of comfort and function. Powdered latex gloves are still the preference of the majority of the glove market.
- Use of Oatstarch in medical examination gloves has consistently passed the scrutiny of the FDA 510(k) process and is consistent with ASTM #3577 requirements.

Protein Content
Less than 150µg/g extractable protein content.
The extractable protein is determined by the modified Lowry microassay with pre-precipitation of proteins using Trichloroacetic and Phosphotungstic acids. Results are calibrated against bovine serum albumin (BSA) standard. The sensitivity limit of the above method is 20µg/g.
Standard Packaging
100 pieces per dispenser box. 10 dispenser boxes in a strong carton. 1250 cartons per 20ft container or 2500 cartons per 40ft container.
Boxes and cartons show the identity of the gloves, the number of gloves contained therein, the brand, country of manufacture, size, relevant products code, batch number and the manufacturing standards.

Delivery
